As of July 25, 2025, Donald Trump’s name has officially been confirmed in the Epstein Files. The revelation has stirred up discomfort throughout America, especially within the Republican Party. But the real question is: Who’s actually surprised?
Jeffery Epstein is a name that needs no introduction. Despite his death in 2019, his legacy of corruption and cover-ups remains at the forefront of public and legal controversies. The Epstein Files, a collection of documentation, data, and physical evidence, amassed over years of investigation is the center of this controversy. But one thing is now undeniable: Donald Trump’s name appears in them.
In May 2025, Trump's Attorney General, Pam Bondi reportedly advised the president against releasing the files to the public. Stating in that same meeting that his name appears “multiple times” in the documents.
Since then, Trump has been attempting to deflect, going so far as to accuse the Biden Administration of manipulating the records. Steven Cheung, Trump’s spokesperson told The Daily News, “This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media—just like the Obama Russiagate scandal, which President Trump was right about.”
But the contradictions in Trump’s own messaging and the increasing inconsistency from his administration have left even members of the MAGA movement questioning what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Let’s be honest: This isn’t new. Trump has a long history of struggling to maintain a consistent narrative. Whether it’s his failed promise to lower grocery prices or his vow to release the Epstein Files that now threaten to expose him. Trump has proven, yet again, that follow through isn’t his strong suit.
He couldn’t keep his promises in 2016 and he won’t start now.
